| Kent Haworth - Born & raised in the
Midwest, trained as an elementary school teacher with a Masters in Ed
Administration, I taught for 8 years. I have been a licensed real estate
broker for 26 years, principal broker and office manager of Coldwell
Banker Valley Brokers since 1993. I have been very involved in this
community since 1990 when I joined Linn County Affordable Housing, a
private, non-profit housing developer. I became President in 1995 and
helped develop almost 100 units of affordable housing in Linn County and
still serve as President. I have also served on the Lebanon Area Chamber
of Commerce, Downtown Lebanon Redevelopment Association (no longer in
existence) Santiam Board of Realtors, serving one year as President,
Lebanon Rotary Club, also serving one year as President, and am
currently on the OSU Federal Credit Union board of directors.
I am very interested building preservation issues and the
economic vitality of Lebanon so it was a natural for me to offer to join
the board of Partners for Progress when it was formed a few years ago.
The future of Lebanon as an education center as well as a commercial hub
for East Linn County is very promising and I look forward to helping in
the changes that are coming. |

| Jan Kern -
Has been in business in the same location in downtown
Lebanon for 6 years. Chose to be in the downtown area because I believe
it is important to be in the hub of the shopping area, and a bookstore
is ideal, as it is also a place for people to visit and get other
information for the area.
Chose to be on the PFP board as I believe it takes a cross section of
the people who work and live in our town to understand what is important
in keeping our town a vital place to shop in the area. As a business
owner, but not a property owner, I represent a large portion of the
people running businesses downtown. |

| Mary Garner - I have a strong passion for
Lebanon as a community; I was raised here and am a 5th
generation Oregonian. We moved to Lebanon in its economic prime and
we’ve struggled with this city through some tough times. I started
working for the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce in 1997 and have been amazed
at how much I have learned about business and business people. I see
Lebanon with such a vision for greatness. I joined the Partners for
Progress Board because I believe in our mission and am confident that
the partnership between PFP and the Chamber of Commerce can and will be
beneficial to Lebanon both for the residents and for the prosperous
future of business. |
 |
| Michelle Morford - I'm a financial
representative for Country Financial and have been in the insurance and
financial services industry for 10 years. I moved to Lebanon in 2006
with my daughter Claudia. Since then, I've been very active in both the
Lebanon and Albany Chambers of Commerce. I am the secretary for
Partners for Progress and the manager of the Downtown Lebanon Farmers
Market. I'm a big believer in Lebanon as an exciting place that is on
the warpath to growth and prosperity. My passions are education,
community service, and growing my strong network of family and friends. |
